I am even more excited that I have just completed a custom order quilt, and have been paid for it, ready to post today. Great few days!

If anyone likes any of the quilts on Etsy, but wants a different size, I may be able to do this for you.

I am very excited to report that I have sold my first quilt, to a lady in France. I am currently making 2 quilts which will appear on Etsy soon, so look out for them. I am enjoying creating my own designs and expanding my Etsy shop.

Check out my new children’s quilt and my multi purpose bag
I enjoy making bags and this is my latest. I like the size of this bag and also the colour. It is lined with a tea colour cream cotton. The bag is on sale on Etsy, have a look and am happy for orders !! Tomorrow is a sewing day for me, and then on Sunday I am going to be playing my cello on a course with some friends. Enjoy the weekend.

Check out my Valentine’s cushion. There is one in stock but more can be made

Alongside my quilt I am experimenting with designing bags. I’m trying to make one with laminated cotton in a satchel design. Its very enjoyable as I like coming up with new ideas to add to my overall collection. Looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend and maybe see Mary Poppins at the cinema. Enjoy yours.
Had a lovely day with my family to celebrate my sister’s birthday. I made some oven gloves for her which she loved. If anyone would like me to make some oven gloves to replace your old ones, just let me know. Take a look at my Etsy for more quilty things like this.

Excellent day today. Managed to go for a swim, attend a work meeting, go to orchestra and best of all, I had a trip to a fabric shop. I bought some lovely material including some laminated cotton which I am going to make into a bag. Tomorrow is a sewing day, lots of projects to start.
I’m very excited to begin my blog and expand my quilt collection. I will start with some valentines gifts and will design a new quilt. Over Christmas I had a good sort out of my fabrics and arranged them into colours and themes and then I bought some more lovely fabric in the post Christmas sales. How long it will stay tidy and organised?

First of all I have some hexagons left over from a project I made last year so want to put them to good use. First I decided to make some contrasting hexagons and then I decide whether to make it into a quilt or a cushion.

Once I have sorted that, I bought some lovely valentines fabrics in the sale, so I will start thinking what gifts to make.

I have been quilting for a number of years and have produced various different items as gifts for family and friends. A few months ago I decided I would like to start selling some of my work, so I decided to try Etsy. My items are on Etsy and I am working now to expand my stock with quilts, cushions, bags and other goodies. I will also produce bespoke quilts on order.

I hope you enjoy my blog, I will be giving out tips and tricks and I will show you my work in progress.
